What are motivational spiritual gifts?
It’s important to know that there are 3 categories of gifts talked about in the bible; ministry gifts, spiritual gifts (also known as charismatic gifts or manifestation gifts), and motivational gifts (also known as gifts of grace), which are the focus of this quiz.
As a Dual Citizen, you have at least 1 motivational spiritual gift. Motivational gifts, found in 1 Corinthians 12: 3-8, are what fuels us to do God’s work and live out our lives like Jesus in all aspects of our life. These are the gifts most applicable to running our businesses as Christian entrepreneurs working towards the great commission. Motivational gifts are how we relate to those we are similar or different to. When you understand all motivational gifts, plus your own, you’ll have a better understanding of how each person is wired to work in certain circumstances or environments. Understanding all motivational gifts also helps relationships thrive.
All spiritual gifts (ministry, spiritual, motivational) are unique abilities the Holy Spirit gives (according to the Spirit’s will and purposes | 1 Corinthians 12:11) to believers, empowering them to serve God and others effectively. No one person has all the gifts, and each gift is important and valuable. All categories of spiritual gifts can be found in Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, 28-30; Ephesians 4:11; and 1 Peter 4:9-11. The diversity of gifts reflects the diversity within the body of Christ, and each gift complements the others to build a strong, unified Church. Spiritual gifts are essential for the growth and improvement of the Church and can be wonderfully integrated into your business practices.

Prophecy
1 Corinthians 14:3 | The gift of prophecy involves speaking God’s truth to others, often providing insight, encouragement, or correction. It’s about delivering a message from God that can inspire and guide others.

Serving (ministry)
Romans 12:7 | The gift of serving involves identifying and meeting the practical needs of others. It’s about being God's hands and feet in action.

Teaching
Ephesians 4:11 | The gift of teaching involves explaining and applying the truths of the Bible in a way that others can understand and grow from.

Exhortation
Romans 12:8 | The gift of exhortation (also known as encouragement), involves uplifting and motivating others, helping them to grow in their faith and life.

Giving
Romans 12:8 | The gift of giving involves generously sharing resources with others, often going above and beyond in financial or material support.

Leadership
Romans 12:8 | The gift of leadership involves guiding and directing others with wisdom and care, often providing strategic vision and oversight.

Mercy
Romans 12:8 | The gift of mercy involves showing compassion and empathy towards those who are suffering or in need.
While it’s essential to recognize your spiritual gifts, it’s equally important to seek God’s guidance and confirmation through prayer. It is also possible that you have more than one motivational spiritual gift but you will not possess all. However, you will be dominant in one spiritual gift, which this quiz is based on. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal your gift(s) clearly and to show you how best to use them in your business. Prayerful consideration will help you align your entrepreneurial endeavors with God’s plan for your life.
